Why Simeonovo River Park

 

Sofia Capital of Bulgaria
The City of Sofia has been Bulgaria’s capital since 1879. It is also Bulgaria’s administrative and financial centre. The population is of about 2 million and inhabit 24 regions. Simeonovo River Park is 15 minutes away from the city centre. (www.sofia.bg )

Vitosha mountain
Vitosha (www.vitoshamount.hit.bg) is the mountain which is standing above Sofia. It has an area of  267 sq.m., its length is 20 km and its width 10 -19 km. It is  1394 m high (for comparison Rila mountain has 1487 m). Vitosha has  9 peaks over 2000 m high and 14 peaks over 1500 m high. This is a prerequisite for different natural conditions. Its steep North slopes give the mountain the view of the Alps (www.park-vitosha.org). Simeonovo River Park is in close proximity to the foot of the mountain and Simeonovo gondola lift.

Perfect location
The development is of gated community type which provides residents with security and comfort. There are two access points – one from the village of Simeonovo and the other one from the ring road.
It is situated at the foot of Vitosha mountain and the prestigious suburb Simeonovo, only 15 minutes away from Sofia City Centre. „Simeonovo River Park” is on a slope of 7.5%. A smaller service area will be situated to the north, at the Simeonovo village access point. It will include a small supermarket, a restaurant and a café shop.

Parks and 2 kilometres of park lanes
There will be a green area in front of each house, the bigger the house, the more privacy and green it provides. Low fences will encompass each property.
There are two parks – Central Park, which runs from the highest to the lowest part of the site, approximately 1 kilometre and has a park lane which gets connected to the River Park. There are 2 kilometres overall park lanes for walking. In addition, there are bicycle lanes for those who want to engage in this activity. There are also cafe shops and rest areas along the parks. The vegetation and the landscaping are uniform for the compound and are designed by a landscape architect.
